Tour of the Valley will officially announce the return of the third annual eco-friendly competitive cycling event, during a press conference held at Youngstown State’s Williamson College of Business on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at 11 a.m.

Race details and sponsors will be announced by TOTV staff in the lobby of YSU’s first green building on June 30th at 11am, the 3rd Annual Tour of the Valley is expected to once again be Ohio’s largest competitive cycling stage race with a carbon-neutral mission. Spotlighting various sponsor, racer and volunteer testimonials, this year’s press conference details the opportunity for individuals, families and civic leaders to unite in making greener choices for the good of the community.

The 2011 Tour of the Valley is set to take place July 8 – July 10. This three-day weekend event is expected to draw spectators and cycling enthusiasts from across the United States, surpassing the 2010 attendance and environmental goals.
